Harry S Truman the 33rd President of the United States had many problems to face after the end of World War II. The main problem was the relationship between the Soviet Union and the U.S. Josef Stalin was the current Communist dictator in the Soviet Union. Much like most dictators he is hated all around the world except in his own country. This did not stop him standing up to the American government.

In 1942, a great number of hours were spent putting American minds to the test. With great feats of science and engineering; the nuclear bomb was constructed in Tennessee, Washington state, and New Mexico. On July 16, 1945 after three long years of work the U.S. government set the first nuclear bomb to explode.
